Pros The design is very smart - nice cradle - visiuals are outstanding. Theoretically it is simply outstanding, but it is not reliable.
Cons The only con is its reliability. After spending days programming it, it crashes - and often. I bought it for my non-technical wife, as I travel a lot, but it crashes so often that it is almost useless for her. Replaced it with a Monster Remote.
Summary This is a beautifully designed product, and when it works it is simply superb. It takes some effort to program it. You have to download their software, which links to the Harmony site. Then you can program your specific components, and customize the buttons to your heart's content.
The problem is that it crashes - and often. You can reload the remote from their website, as they keep your specifics on file (or maybe the specifics are filed on your computer - not 100% sure). But this defeats the whole purpose of the device.
It uses a touch screen interface, and I think that the problems are in the touch-screen. I contacted Harmony, and they were very nice to talk to, but seemed clueless as to what my problem was. I finally gave up on the remote - it is now gathering dust.
I purchased a Monster Remote, which uses the Harmony software but has 'hard' buttons. It has been 100% reliable - has never crashed. Plus I have been able to use add z-wave switches to control the lights in the room and run them from the Monster Remote, and last but not least, with the Monster I was able to solve a huge problem I had been dealing with. Two of the devices in my AV area have the same codes. But with the Monster, I can isolate the one device using their remote IR, and then tape over the sensor area with the remote IR blaster inside the tape, and I can program the Monster so that when I want to use device #1, I do not use the IR blaster, and with device number two, I use the remote IR blaster. I am not sure if I could do that with the Harmony or not, as I gave up on the Harmony before I got to that stage.
So I suggest you consider the Monster Remote instead of the Harmony - but maybe you will have better luck that I did at keeping the Harmony from crashing - if it did not crash it would be the nicer, more aesthetically pleasing and easier remote to use (if I could get it to handle the Z-wave switches - as I said already, not sure if it could do that or not).
Pros It controls just about anything you can having in your house, one of the best remotes to carry room to room with you for sure. Activity set up is easy and I have only had one device (Sony Blue Ray player) that I needed to use the remote to program the har
Cons ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE Customer service. They define physical damage as dropping the remote from a height of 4 feet to a height of 2 feet (total height dropped 2 feet). My harmony broke after 5 months of use by dropping it from chest height to my coffee tabl
Summary I will be phasing out all of my Logitech products and moving to alternative companies products due to the lack of customer service that Logitech has. I for sure will phase out all of the remotes that I have for my home first, then everything else.

Pros all in one remote no more damn Battery plus control my sound bar that had a cheaply made remote!
Cons what con's hell even controls fans with a IR on them and more!
Summary does every thing I want it too and more plus it doesn't say I have Headache at nights!
Pros Overall pretty easy to set up and program via the web. Nice color screen and the ability to add third party logos/icons for favorite channels. Has all the features my other remotes had, plus the ability to program specific feature if missing. Customer ser
Cons It is a bit pricey, but they have come down a lot and there are good deals all over the web. If your system is complicated like mine with multiple inputs needing to be changed to go from one activity to another, you may need to contact customer support. B
Summary By far the best remote control I ever owned. There might be better ones on the market, but for the price I paid new on the web for it ($150.00) I couldn't go wrong. My kids and wife have problem using this remote and friends and family are shocked at how easy it is to use and how it eliminates the need to have several remote on the table. Most people that complain about this remote don't have the knowledge or the patience to take the time to program it right. Yes I needed to call customer service for an issue with it not cycling through all my inputs, however from there end they were able to access my web based settings and make all the changes from there. All I had to do was re-sync the remote when they were finished and everything works perfect. Also most people are use to a typical style remote, this is not your average plain Jane remote. There is a slight learning curve, but after only a few hours with it, you'll be a pro. Hell, my 5 year old know already how to use this remote with no problem. The bottom line is if you do it right from the start you'll be completely satisfied with the purchase of this remote, just go on line and look for deals!
Pros great as you can customize the remote and nice bright screen.
Cons Touch Screen is not very responsive or sensitive, rechargeable battery is a downfall, connectivity to the internet to update is very problem prone,
Summary For the cost this unit should work like a pro. The connectivity issue is a headache. It constantly times out unless you are on a ultra high speed connection. The average user will hate that if you forget one evening to put it on the charger it will be dead for the next use. The screen with nice is not very touch sensitive. then you have the issue of the feel in your hand, not ergonomically friendly to say the least. For this kind of money you would expect more and better quality. A real DUD!
