Summary Online manual programming did not work either for the dish network device. It couldnt recognize the signal. I have to return the device back to the store and therefore could not recommend as this product as it does not perform its primary function. Very disappointed!

Summary This is a great remote to eliminate extra remotes, and allow some additional customization without breaking the bank. However, the harmony 650 offers easier -more reliable operation, better interface, and easier customization, with a greater range of options just under $100. I feel that it's better bang for the buck.

Pros Set it up in minutes for 4 devices via web application and usb cable, vcr, tv, amplifier and dvd. customized special functions easilly. Learning ability of remote is very good. It was the first remote to work on insignia amplifier, ns-r5101hd

Cons no backlight on buttons. the remote is a bit long and ergonomy could have been better. maximum of 4 devices. was enough for me, but just to make you aware.

Summary I was afraid to buy logitech since i had trouble with joystick in the past, not very durable. And I hope i won't be disappointed to give them another chance. I also read on their own forum that support is poor, so if your remote seems to have the slightliest problem, return to store immediatly, cos mine worked great right away with very old and very new devices. well worth it's price.

Pros Intuitive online programming process. Setup is a breeze via included USB cable. One of the most important features is the design of the remote. It has the look and feel of the other higher end harmony remotes. Feels great in your hand.

Summary Overall, I am thrilled with this remote. I wasn't willing to spend 100 dollars on one of the other harmony remotes, after all a remote control serves a basic purpose thus why I feel like this remote is suitable for most people. The design of the remote is key, and logitech has paid attention well to the feel of the remote in your hand. It does indeed feel unobtrusive when using it. This is much different and a lot nicer than most basic remote controls which have that bulky and poor feel when you use them. The Harmony 300 also compliments a BluRay player well. It has the necessary coloured keys which control key features on a bluray player.
