Summary: The Cnet reviewer is a bit of a tech snob. The rubber number buttons grip your fingers well and allow a larger back-lit area, easy to see in the dark and they feel solid. Who needs another battery charger to lose? AA batteries are cheap and they last a long time. The back-lit screen emulates any extra buttons you may need. It eliminated five remotes and anyone can pick it up and use it, no confusion.
