"Better icons and fonts coming"
Pros: Form factor, screen, simplicity
Cons: My icons! (May 2)
Summary: I designed and produced the icon set and interface components for the 880, however, the compiler we used left us wanting, and we are currently working on making the icons appear on screen as they do in Photoshop! We are also working on another fontset that will allow more special characters and is a bit more condensed. Should be another week or so more. But do update your icons if you haven't already in the past week (June 2, 2005).

This is a great way to have only one remote. It isn't ideal for intense (Tivo) use but it's great for Channel changing and volume control in one remote. Beyond that the scrolling is doable but annoying. The Harmony 990 is good if you have components hidden and you need a strong signal to penetrate walls or windows or hummers.
Also J&R.com sells them for about $160. w/no Shpg so bag the $249. prices listed on CNET. -
When will TV listings be available?
