I have a Panasonic HD TC32LX50 TV, a RIO HT2030 Home Theater, a Scientific American 8300HD HDTV/PVR Cable Box and a D-LINK DSM320 Media Center. It took a bit of work but for the first time I have a remote that controls all of theses various boxes on one remote.
The built in Codes are pretty good for newer devices and just turn power on and off for older devices (i.e. my RIO HTS). But the Fix Key learn function allows you to program each key. Getting the Scientific American HDTV/PVR Cable Box PIP and PVR functions to work took a bit of work because PIP is TV. The RIO needed the Fix Key learning mode to make it work.
I would recommend it to anyone that is not overwhelmed by technology and wants to replace several remotes with a sleek looking not too pricy remote. My wife likes it because she can point one remote at the entertainment center, push one button and watch TV or listen to music and the 3 remotes are no longer on the coffee table. They are in the cupboard with the batteries removed.
