TiVo Slide Remote

Pros: The keyboard is great. The range is much improved.

Cons: Heavier than expected. Buttons are a bit too sensitive. Too easy to hit buttons by mistake when moving or bumping the remote.

Summary: If you use the TiVo features that required text input heavily, this remote is a big improvement. Otherwise, it is not great. It's a bit too heavy to comfortable use to channel surf. The buttons are so sensitive that it is way too easy to inadvertently press them when picking up or even bumping into the remote. This is a real problem if you are not recording a show but watching it a bit behind. If you accidentally hit one of the channel changing buttons you can lose what you were watching. I would not be happy with this being the only remote I had for TiVo.
