Overall nice remote
Pros: Feels & handles good, learns easily, good battery use.
Cons: Weak communication, usually have to press a button 2-3 times to get it to register with the device.
Review:
I've been using this remote for over a year and, for the most part, it's a good device. I am looking to replace it because of how weak it seems to be. Even with fresh batteries, it takes 2-3 presses before the command registers.

Great remote, great price
Pros: has every button for my comcast hdtv dvr and my Sony hdtv

I tried the sony rmvl600 universal first. It is a great remote. It does not have all the buttons the comcast remote has.This universal R7 remote does.The main need for this remote is the comcast hd dvr.
The sony did not have the mydvr button or the channel page up and down buttons that the comcast remote has.
Very easy to program. Easily controls my other devices.Has macro features that can streamline custom processes that you may need.Overall the perfect cheap universal for people who heavily use a satelite or cable dvr like me.
