"No Tech Support Available"

2.5 stars  | on by abestpromos

Pros

Very flexible and universal.

Cons

This item is out of production. No technical support to owners.

Also I have read other reviews about the volume control failing after a year or so. Without support don't count on any repairs either.

Summary

Very nice product but no customer support available. While this device may do all you ever wanted a remote to do, if you like the idea of a company standing behind their products, this control may not be for you.

I worked in the retail industry and set up several remotes, after trying almost the entire line from logitech, universal remote, philips, and a handful of cheaper remotes I found that the MX-850 was the far easiest to program, easiest to set up, and it had all the options I need. I've now owned it for 4 years and I am still extremely happy with it. I just wish their site was updated to have compatibility for Windows Vista/Windows 7
