"Requires advanced settings to work correctly"
Pros: Initially the router kept dropping connection. You have to hard set settings in router to a diffrent channel and match that channel on your pc's, I recommend ch3. Because almost all routers default to 6, use diffrent ch.
Cons: Read bottom line summary
Summary: And hard set to either 802.11b or 802.11g and do same on your pc. I have comcast cable modem and have got it to work. I had Linksys wrt300 and it died after 2 years. I've had this one for 2 days and now its not dropping connection and seems to work fast. If you buy this router, follow my recommendations. Your neighbors probably have wireless routers and they will be on the same ch as this one. Also set your SSID to something unique and disable broadcast so no one can piggy back on your router. I am a network administrator and this should help you get max performance from this device.

I'm having the dropped connection problems too. Any ideas on how to fix it, because it's very annoying when I'm trying to do something and it just goes out. It does it about 20-30 times a day, for about 30 sec a pop. I've plugged directly into the modem to see if it was Comcast for a few days and I had no troubles so it must be the router. It's secure and only has 2 computers wirelessly connected and 3 directly connected.

I agree with Mike. Your review is almost completely nonsensical. Where are you a network administrator?

Why set it to 802.11b which has a max speed of 10Mb/s and g only 54. doesn't that defeat the purpose of an N-router. Why use a unique SSID if it's not visible; that doesn't make sense. Also if you set up a secure connection using WPA you don't have to worry about anyone using your connection. furthermore, most routers automaticly choose the channel with the least interferance by default so you don't end up with everyone using the same channel it's called auto search. I find it hard to believe you are a network administrator; half of your summary makes no sense at all, and if you are you will probably be losing your job soon.
