Pros there are no pros
Cons wireless is very flaky.
Summary stay away
Pros Pretty blue lights
Cons Useful only withing a very small raange
Summary This is the first wireless router I've had personal experience with. How disappointing! I received it as a gift to enable me to use my laptop in different rooms in the house. In the same room the signal strength is the full 5 bars but in any other room it's two bars at most. Even the signal strength from routers in neighbours' houses is as strong or stronger. My son who gave it to me (he's a systems analyst) was surprised that there's no way to vary the signal strength. It's going to the next electronics recycling depot once I buy one that works.
Pros Handled basic wireless connectivity reasonably well. Was able to connect multiple devices simultaneously without much drop in speed. Affordable.
Cons This router proved to be highly unreliable. I initially thought that we were having issues with our physical connection. Not so. I don't think I'm being inaccurate in claiming that I would lose wireless at least once a week.
Summary Pony up for a worthwhile router. I just replaced the N300 with the Netgear N600, and am quite pleased thus far. As I recall, setup on the Belkin N300 was nowhere near as seamless.
Pros All cons only, no pros. They hv good ser ice network so if there is problem u can get the replacement. If the technology itself is poor, there is nothng we can do.
Cons Very poor speed, disconnects sometimes, very poor range
Summary Useless and not worth the price
