Cons: Useful only withing a very small raange

Summary: This is the first wireless router I've had personal experience with. How disappointing! I received it as a gift to enable me to use my laptop in different rooms in the house. In the same room the signal strength is the full 5 bars but in any other room it's two bars at most. Even the signal strength from routers in neighbours' houses is as strong or stronger. My son who gave it to me (he's a systems analyst) was surprised that there's no way to vary the signal strength. It's going to the next electronics recycling depot once I buy one that works.
