Pros Nice display
Cons Poor distance
Setup not for novice
Summary Ive had 3 defective units in 4 months. Also added extender - unhappy with product!
Pros Very secure, lots of features, plenty of options for customization.
Cons Very complex with little explanation for the basic or newer user. Assumptions are made in the manual that the user already knows what they are doing and is comfortable with all the jargon common to setting up a home network and security.
Summary I'd like to see a bit more attention paid to the user manual, particularly the troubleshooting; however, I realize that as a Mac user I'm in the minority. Still, this is a great router and I'd recommend it to Windows and Mac users, as long as the Mac users are either savvy or have a friend who can help them get the set-up working.
Pros theres nothing i like about it it has to many problems
Cons hard to use and set up does not worl well
Summary i had trying to set up to my ps3 black ops and can not get it to work well
Pros *This router will run on 110 to 220v. I have yet to find a nother router that will keep both power levels
*I can take this anywhere and plug it in and my network will just start;
Cons The editor is a pay off.
Summary *The LED will show whats goin gon with out having to log in to it all the time. Save time and money when you game and you have to pay your dues at the end of the Month.
*More than one computer can game at one time with out haveing to slow down, not me and my boys can play together.
The editor must not game a lot or he tried to overload it because he must have to have something bad to write. I have been gameing for a while on many diffrent games, and never have I had it close on me. I do shut it down for about 10 mins when we go to bed to keep it up, but that is it.
Pros the screen on the routers is easy to read and use
the setup is easy to get going
fast speed up to 50 feet through walls and floors and even lead paint <(lol)
i set up the gaming port for my 360 easy
Cons up to 40+ feet(through THICK walls mind you)does begin to lose signal but at 3/4 bar at 50+ feet through walls is nothing to complain about.proly A pro
using the gamefule (witch is to prioritize witch get most wifi priority) is a little complicated.
Summary i love it so far and the setup is fairly user friendly for an already complicated matter such as opening ports and what not. i fell once i get that priory game fuel option going im gonna be even more happy and b4 i even opened ports or set anything up it was already more than fast enough. although i'm a nit picker and i know when my wife moves in with me she will love to go crazy with the lime wire and ill be soo happy knowing all that massive data she's downloading dosen't mess with my gameplay
