"Worst Router Ever Made"
Pros: Teaches you to distrust d-link
Cons: Where do I begin....
Summary: Like another reviewer, I too registered with cnet just to warn you about this piece of crap. I have the latest firmware installed. I have also twice waited forever on hold with D-link for some dummy to suggest unplugging/plugging in the power adaptor as a way to fix the problem.
The problem is that I lose Internet constantly. So does any other computer at my home that tries to use this router. I don't lose a signal, but my Internet access goes down. I have no problems if my computer is connected straight to the cable modem, so I know it's the router.
Curiously, connecting via Ethernet cable directly to the d-link router doesn't help matters any. The Internet access still goes down. This thing even fails as a wired router.
But don't take my word for it. Google "dir-15 +sucks" and you will find many others that share my opinion. So, if you want to live on the wild side and risk your money for something widely recognized as sucking, buy this product.
As for the positive reviews on this site --"spectacular," "excellent," "best router I've ever owned, and the slightly arrogant "awesome product for educated users," etc. -- come on. Really? Can't say I've ever been so moved by a router to rush online and write such glowing reviews.
Maybe this router is a form of Internet Russian roulette, and I bought the bullet. Don't buy the bullet, folks. Don't buy this d-link.Updated

I installed this router last week. Setup was a breeze. I am getting connectivity at 120mbs to 150mbs and zero errors. I totally recommend this product.

I totally agree with you!
To fmeyersny,
I DO know how to configure and setup this piece of crap! It just randomly dc and always have internet issues and connection issues EVEN after it has been fixed, it happens again! -
I work retail. I sell these things. To anyone who DOES know how to set up a network.. they STILL suck. D-Link used to be a great brand. Now the D stands for Disconnect. 6 out of the 8 sold in the last month in my store have been returned with the same problem. They are a P.O.S. Oh, but it must be user error right? Nope. this thing is worse than the second version of Linksys's WRT54G and its wonderful internal antenna of overheating. Go Belkin/Netgear. Maybe in a couple years i'll go back to D-Link

I'm always amazed at people who don't know how to setup their network, and then go on to blame the equipment. I have 14-15 of these routers installed at clients, and have never experienced a failure. I have never received a single support call, except after a power failure - and that just required restarting the cable modem and router.
