I bought this router because I was getting tired of unplugging and plugging my connection from my DSL Modem to my different computers. Getting access to the internet from both computers was a snap. I can tell no difference with the speed of my connection with or without it. (This is a good thing). The included software allowed me to add a printer to my new found home network with ease, and made sure that all of my hardware continued to talk to each other. As a networking novice, this unit made me feel like a pro in no time.

Cons

everything about it including how to set up for MACs

Summary

Doesn't work. Can't believe I bought this. Almost lost connection writing this review. Hangs when you go to different websites for at least 1 minute. Says "Sending request" and then "Took too long to connect" etc.

""Measuring Gateway speed, please stand by"????"

Went online to see if others were living the same hell I have been living, and here we are. When connecting for the first time, it works ok. By the time you go have a cup of coffee and come back, it's lights are "on" but there is no activity. Your PC will say "Unknown Network" or "No Network Access". And you can't access its own Admin Pages (of course). You unplug, reset, (whatever), and voila, you can now connect again --BUT-- for how long? 15 minutes? Do I hear 16 minutes? Any takers for 17 minutes?

You get the idea...
