Linksys EA6500 HD Video Pro AC1750 Smart Wi-Fi Router

Pros: Very fast when it's working
Relatively easy to set up

Cons: Locks up 2 or times a week and needs power cycling
Locks you out of GUI 2 or 3 times a month and needs a hard factory reset to restore
Firmware very buggy-google to see the number of problems out there
You have to connect through Cisco - ridiculous!

Summary: I have owned this router since Nov 2012 and until Cisco resolve these issues I would suggest you don't waste your time. Just do a Google search and you'll see what I mean. You'll save yourself a lot of grief in the long run.
Customer support is virtually impossible to reach and I have been on hold for 60+ minutes on multiple occassions before giving up.
I own multiple Cisco products and have always considered them a reliable brand until this router, at $200 it should work!!
But enough is enough and unless Cisco fix these issues soon, the EA6500 will regretfully be consigned to the trash heap.
