Summary: In all, my review of this router is a 5 star. It is one of the easiest routers I have setup. It took me less than 10 minutes using my MacBook Air. Accessing the router settings is simple from home or abroad using the Linksys cloud. I can access the settings from my computer or when I am on the road using my iPhone. This router is replacing my Linksys E4200 v2, which was a good router as well. This router seems to update its firmware automatically and from reading the reviews that may have been the problem with any loss of connection and or poor performance. I utilize the 5.0 GHZ band with no problem, and I have the option to use the 2.4 GHZ band as well. Be aware that some devices do not support the 5.0 GHZ, such as the iPhone. I would recommend this router to anyone who is serious about setting up a great home network system.
