Cons No USB port, but I did not buy the one with a USB port. I wish Linksys would tell us specifically what the range of a router is. on by rgiversen | Read full review

Cons Unit will stay connected for only limited amounts of time. Range is only OK...there are better out there. Tech support is expensive after the 1st year. Does not work well with smart-phones. on by uraputts | Read full review

Cons Extremely unstable on the N band, does not matter what is going on but the router drops my laptop and every other computer running on wifi about once an hour and will only reconnect after pulling the power on the router and plugging it back in on by Deltaechoe | Read full review

Cons N-Band unreliable, often requires reboot to get it working again (this happened since Day 1)
Stops routing FTP until rebooted (this happened since Day 1)
Web interface became sluggish and unusable (recently)
Stopped working even after hard reset. on by sl33p_d0g | Read full review -
Cons Parental Controls are a total joke. They do not work at all. I contacted tier 2 tech support at Linksys who were totally useless on this issue. ALl they try and do is try and sell me the next generation E3000. Typical of Cisco on by ronandlane | Read full review

Cons 2 months and this router is trashed.
Resets every 15 minutes. Takes about 2-5 minutes to get back online.
2nd linksys I bought that fails just after warranty.
That's over $300 in linksys products in the trash. on by Reviewer101 | Read full review -
Cons Have heard bad things about the network management software that shipped with it (LELA); so after the router setup, I didn't install it. You can easily manage your router directly by going to the router url: http://192.168.1.1 on by grire974 | Read full review

Cons It shuts down OVER and OVER. Every time I turned around it was showing up as just reconnected on my laptop. on by JimmyPhxAZ | Read full review

Cons - Price, now the price isn't that bad to be honest however the competition is the big deal... For the same price you can get a NET GEAR Dual Band Gigabyte router however the linksys is a more solid product. But the GIGABYTE router price is attractive on by BrandonJMorris | Read full review
