I replaced the terrible DLink DI-624 with this product, and am very impressed. The DI-624 would constantly drop connections randomly and did not give full-house coverage.

I bought this product and with no other changes I now have a perfectly stable network with no dropped connections or problems connecting to the router. I can now also connect reliably between wireless clients for file sharing - with the DLink product wireless clients couldn't even see each other. DLink blamed Windows for this, but after installing the WRT54GL, I can certainly say that it was not Windows but a faulty DLink router! (and bad DLink tech support).

Pros

This router worked without problems for a year and 3 mos.

Cons

It was so difficult to set up that I had to call a computer tech friend of mine to set it up for me... it was not possible for me to do it alone (and I do have a normal level of computer knowledge).
