"Good range, WIFI stability issues, no FW updates" By mafj

Pros: Good range, signal goes through walls.
Easy to set up and get running.
Saves space standing in vertical position.
NUmber of WIFI security options.

Cons: WIFI not stable and router often needs rebooting.
Poor transfer over WIFI (max 2.1MB/s on 54mbit connection)
No firmware updates (public ones as Linksys hides it for themselves).
No 3rd party firmware.
No advanced options

Summary: For home use might be OK as well as for the price I paid (18quid with delivery), but the need for rebooting is quite annoying (once several days).

"WRT54GR is JUNK" By dieselandroses

Pros: Looks nice

Cons: Last 2 replacement unit have not worked properly right out of the box.
Software takes a minimum of 2 tries to locate the router

Summary: I dislike the product because it does not work. I am not sure if it because the internal components are of poor quality or the unit was assembled improperly.
