"Mandatory Firmware Upgrade Needed, then a great box."
Pros: After the third party firmware is loaded, the machine hummmmzzz!
Cons: The router has issues with both shipped firmware and the firmware upgrade located at Linksys. The firmware upgrade at linksys is old (released in 2007 if I recall correctly)

"Fast both wired and N: But use Firmware: >= V1.1.03"
Pros: I wanted a Draft N and Gb wired router in 1 device for max through when on desk or away from desk. Works a charm. But not without a few hours in the manual and with the new firmware.
Cons: Complex to configure and could do with a trouble shoot log.
eg much fiddling with settings to get VPN passthrough working.
I also had fun getting it running behind a second router.
