I’ve been beating up Comcast for months now, and have replaced everything, but the router. I have to reset my modem anywhere from 5 to 10 times a day.
Being that the product is past warranty and discontinued, I could see charging for set up help, but to pay $70. Bucks just to find out I need to spend another $100 or more is ridicules. Look, I don’t mind buying another router if needed, but why do I have to pay for trouble shooting someone else’s mistake?
Come on guys, Netgear is suppose to be some of the best rotors out there. I’ve got music equipment that is 20 years old and it’s been through every rain storm imaginable and still running. I have my Netgear on an APC power strip with the computer and none of that other stuff has any issues.
If the rotor has gone bad in 4 years fine, things happen. But being that its solid state, and a pro line piece of equipment, can’t we find out if I need to purchases a new unit with out charging me for something I already bought?
