Pros 2 VPN tunnels -- security up the ying yang(NAT, SPI etc.) -- outbound and inbound rules -- a+b+g wireless -- WEP 64/128/156 and will be WPA -- Atheros 5002 chip set
Cons None - solid
Pros Is Dual Band - VPN - Great Firewall.
Cons If you ever need Netgear support it is horrible.
Summary Great little setup and one of the last truly great products put out by Netgear. Has a/b/g and trust me all 3 can come in handy in a crowded environment. Has 108a in Turbo mode when used with the compatible Netgear card. WEP is standard and WPA is available with Firmware upgrade. VPN is a breeze and the Firewall is Business Class. This thing can be easy to setup in its basic form or you can get as complicated as you would like. Port Forwarding setup is simple and straight forward. This thing even has content and URL filtering. Overall this has been a great product even for the home environment and will work with everything from Cable Modem to FIOS.
Pros Relatively easy to set up. Rules can be simple but allows for more advanced security if you want.
Pros Good features, performance and security. 108Mb Super G mode, WEP and WPA (with firmware upgrade), NAT, VPN, SPI firewall. Dual band (802.11a, b, g and SuperG). Good management (remote, wireless and wired) and rich configurable features.
Cons Bit of a pain to set up. Docs and online tech support did not have help for specific problem I had. WPA via upgrade only.
