"Great Wireless G Router"4.0 starson by jimcoco
Pros: Easy to Use; Great Support Documents
Cons: Non PC devices require more effot to connect
Summary: I bought this to replace a wireless G Airlink router which was terrible. I use a cable modem with 2 hardwired computers, and I needed wireless for my boys' PS3 and PSPs as well as my office laptop. The Netgear router was easy to set-up on the computers thanks to the CD-ROM setup wizard. The PS3 and PSPs required me to use the router manual since I couldn't use the CD-ROM as recommended for laptops. The manual has three easy to read side-by-side columns: table on contents, manual directions, and glossary. It is easy to follow, and the glossary finally helped me to make sense of all the techno-jargon that is like a foreign language to me. My Airlink manual was brief, and the online help was minimal at best. Best of all, the speed is great. For my hard-wired computers, I'm downloading 6,000+ kbps and uploading 500+ kbps. For the wireless gaming, the system is much faster than the old router and I don't have any glitched. One final note, the security is good with clear explanations on how and why to set-up your system with a firewall and wireless key.
