  • "Router broken then customer service denies "warranty""
    1.0 stars
    on by nd_wagner

Pros: it worked. nothing special but it worked well enough

Cons: Broken. Hardware or software problem, but there is nothing we can do to fix it (tired all the steps suggested) and customer "support" wants $39 to diagnose and is "sure" that there is nothing wrong with the hardware.

Summary: DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE "LIFE TIME WARRANTY" idea... they will not honor it. Netgear is horrible. Support and customer service is outsourced, rude, and unable to do anything unless you pay $39 for 30minutes if it is more than 90 days after purchase (even on LIFETIME WARRANTY products).
