The Netopia R5200 DDS Router integrates ease-of-use, powerful 'business-class' features, and a built-in growth path to provide small to medium-sized businesses, branch offices and schools with a dedicated, high-bandwidth connection to the Internet or corporate intranet. With this type of 'always-on' connection, you can host Internet services including web, email or FTP servers, or integrate remote sites into one logical corporate network. The Netopia R5200 DDS Router is capable of handling 56K Digital Data Services (DDS) connections, and is compatible with all major WAN and LAN protocols including, Frame Relay, PPP, Cisco-HDLC, TCP/IP and IPX. With support for PPTP and AMTP also included, you can create a Virtual Private Network (VPN) using advanced tunneling and encryption, that offers remote users, branch offices and business partners secure access to the resources on your LAN.
