The Netopia R5320 T1 Router integrates ease-of-use, powerful 'business-class' features, and a built-in growth path to provide small to medium-sized businesses, branch offices and schools with a dedicated, high-bandwidth connection to the Internet or corporate intranet. With this type of 'always-on' connection, you can host Internet services including web, email or FTP servers, or integrate remote sites into one logical corporate network. It features: integrated DSU for high-performance Fractional T1/T1 data service, permanent connection to the Internet or remote sites at up to T1 speeds (1.54 Mbps), easy Frame Relay setup using SmartMatch to autodetect remote Frame Relay partners, secure VPN solution built-in for building intranets and extranets to serve remote users, branch offices and business partners, built-in firewall to protect LAN resources from intruders on the Internet, Network Address Translation with Exported Services for even greater security while still hosting your Web, Mail or extranet servers. Built-in upgrade path allows you to change the connection type as your needs change. It also features add-on for built-in backup via ISDN or V90 and integrated 8-port 10Base-T Ethernet hub.
