"Fast, easy to use, good value"
Pros: I've been using this product for about 2 years now and it works great. I have experience setting up networks so this isn't new to me. The settings are easy to change and my cable connection is extremely fast (sharing with 2 computers). Very user friendly
Cons: The firmware seems to be buggy, I personally use v4.12 and it works the best or me. NOTE: This product is VERY sensitive to computer viruses/trojans. It would occasionally stop responding, 99% of the time it was a virus on my computer or out of date Windo

"Drops connection when transferring data"
Cons: I bought a RP614 after reading pretty good reviews on Cnet. First one I had was alway droping the connection. After talked to "technical support", returned to purchaser and got a replacement. I upgraded the firmware, and it did the same thing. Talked

Cons: Indoor range about 1/3 of advertised. Tech support poor and you need lots of it. Network is not reliable.

"Kept Dropping the connection"
Pros: I liked that it had a stand which would make it sit upright!
Cons: Wizard was misleading in that it said if the connection was set up correctly the Netgear webpage would come up. This was not the case and caused me a lot of headaches before I manually set everything up, at which time I was able to pull up the webpage thr

"Started out Great... and then..."
Pros: RP614 was great right out of the box. Replaced my Linksys BEFSR41 which would freeze and require resetting almost weekly. Worked fine even with my VPN connection and three other computers in the house.
Cons: After 5 months of smooth sailing, it now drops the connection every 15-25 minutes. Tech support had me do a hardware reset. That worked for 2 days, then it started dropping again. Now shopping for something other than Linksys or Netgear.
