Pros Very easy to install and was up and running in a few minutes (if that). Security features similar to any other router I've used in the past. Compact size for easy travel.
Cons I don't think there are any operational cons to this product. It functioned exactly as it promised.
Summary Connected 3 laptops with no problem (2 pc's and 1 mac laptop), and even connected a PSP and iPhone to the Windy31. I've also used it for travel and found that Windy31 to be an invaluable tool in hotels and conference centers.
Pros Very easy to setup. 3 funtions in a device. Wireless router, LAN card, aceess point.
Cons only support 802.11b/g.
Summary I have a desktop and a laptop in my house. I plug windy 31 in the desktop which was connected internet and Windy31 was installed automatically in a minutes. It is very simple and easy. Then my laptop can catch a strong wireless network signal from Windy31. Very handy. It's working as a router, wireless adopter and access point.
Pros Did not work, so no pros.
Summary This unit did not work from day one. I tried it on two computers with the same result. I emailed 'support' (the support email bounced) and the Synet contacts that I have, and neither have responded to my requests for help. Not good at all.
Pros Great hype and if it did as advertised all would be good.
Cons My OS is Windows 7 Pro and this Unit tries to start when inserted as they state in their hype but "Non Supported OS" window pops up.
Sent email to support but NO response. Anyone with solution please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Summary Win7 users beware. If they ever respond and/or provide a solution I will modify this review
Pros light, smart, easy to use
Cons before using, I should turn off some programs like antivirus or something. but it was not that hard
