  • "This thing is Terrible"
    on by thehellisthis

Pros Nothing this thing is an abomination.

Cons This is the worst router ever period. This thing drop the signal every 30 seconds. It is exremely unreliable.

Summary If you buy this ungodly abomination be ready to set your hair on fire. You have a better change to use a coat hanger to get better Wi-Fi signal.

  • "Works as advertised for me."
    on by pmsagdeo

Pros Small size, easy to install, easy to configure. Had it installed and working in about five minutes.

Cons Not a dual band router.

Summary I am not sure why this device has received rather poor rating. I purchased it for $25.00 on whim as a possible emergency replacement for my rather expensive (and temperamental) Linksys router because it kept slowing down. A few weeks ago it did die, and I installed this router. It has consistently provided close to the rated connections speed, never lost connection to any of my devices, wired or wireless, and has not been hot or even warm to touch. Very satisfied so far.

  • "You get what you pay for"
    on by dtan001

    Pros 1.Cheap
    2.Easy setup
    3. Works well when using the 4 port cable plug ins

Cons 1. Wireless connection frequently drops on some devices - restart generally fixes the issue but its a real hassle
    2. Range on this router is not great despite having dual antennas

Summary The wireless capability on the router is very questionable. It works well with my Blackberry devices (phone an playbook) but had a tougher time connecting with the Iphone and Ipad. When you can't connect, it had to be rebooted. Most times, it resolves the problem. On occasion, it just would not connect no matter what you did, or you would get a dropped connection after 30 secs. However, when it works, it works absolutely fine with very fast speeds. The range could be better, but good enough for a small house or apartment.

All in all, a cheap device better suited as a non-wireless router. I can't recommend it to anybody due to its unreliable wireless capability.

  • "Simply does not work."
    on by abarg1

Pros Consistent with a Windows 7 PC, good customer service

Cons Drops connections to all other platforms, must manually reboot it after that.

    Summary Do NOT buy.

  • "Mine isn't too bad at all."
    on by malestrom420

Pros Wicked Xbox Live Gaming Speeds and hey man, it's cheap right?

Cons Ummmm, I do believe people can hack it easily, even with a WPA2, so a weekly renew, even with that, still pretty good speeds

Summary Not too bad.....***shrugs*** at least for me, will a buy another?? maybe not
