"The device is cheap & service is good for most part."4.5 starson by harleyy2
Mifi was half $ of what contract carriers want
Easy to turn one
Extended battery is definitely worth it
Cons: Sprint Coverage Map
Standard battery only lasts 3-4 hours
Summary: Since I work from home and am out & about getting new customers this device is wonderful because of the ease of use and flexibility. When I first started working from home, my business team told me about the USB MC760 and after I did some research about it I purchased that online immediately! I purchased that back in December of 2010 so I thankfully was Grandfathered into the $40/month 5GB throttling to 256kbps. I bought the Mifi 2200 in November of 2011 because I went to a business conference with my team and forgot my USB at my hotel but thankfully someone had the Mifi with them and allowed me to connect to it. That thing was faster than the USB and it even had the max of 5 people on it! They had the extended battery on it and told me it lasts a little more than 8 hours straight.
When I got back to my hotel room I immediately ordered the Mifi 2200 from Virgin's site and got the 1 day shipping. It was at my house before I even got home from the airport! I now use it daily when I advertise/get new customers at the mall and other types of places. I connect my laptop and my iPad 2nd generation up to it and stream a video on my iPad to show people about my business. I did purchase an extended battery online and I've had that run a max of 10 hours 30 minutes straight before dying...that beats the standard battery! It does make the Mifi bulky but if you keep it in your computer bag or something it's no big deal.
Overall: Fabulous device, extended battery is definitely worth it if you use it on a daily basis during the day and coverage is good for the most part...just make sure you check coverage before going on a trip.
