"Firmware Updates Destroy Router"
Pros: Worked reliably until the auto-update broke it.
Cons: Firmware upgrade rendered my router a paperweight.
Summary: I installed a firmware update by hitting the "Yes" button on the router's admin screen to download and install the latest firmware (i.e., this was not user error in installation). The so-called "update" rendered my router totally and unrecoverably nonfunctional.

Right out the box performed like the CHAMP that it is. I have set up more than a dozen networks with this router (v1, v2, and v3)without any problems. Great range and never drops signal.

This device is loosing connectivity on the regular bases. I have to constantly reset power to get connectivity back. Upgrade firmware button is not working. I checked the update manually and it was available. I just wonder, where the 7.9 editor's rating is coming from?
