    Pros: Looks like a Linksys

Cons: Doesn't act like a Linksys

Summary: I'm in the process of getting my 2nd replacement in as many months. Works better as a wired hub than anything else. I wouldn't waste the money on it, unless you need a doorstop.

So.. here's the short version of the issue. The wireless portion of the router drops out CONSTANTLY, while the wired ports stay hot. This happens .. ohh.. 20 times a night. It's the perfect router if you're working from home, plenty of disruptions. At one point I had two different wireless cards connected within 10 feet of the router.. both dropped out. This is the 2nd unit and the exact same issue. Buy a Netgear

This is a true POS. It's not really very good as a doorstop either - too light. It drops wireless signals repeatedly. Heaven help you if a MAC connects - it will lock up and you'll have to power off. What a fabulous design. Linksys has hit a new low with this one.

I ordered this router and was actually sent the wrong model. I first received the wrt54g (or is it s) identical except without speedbooster. worked great then sent it back afrter realising they had sent me the wrong one. wish i had kept it casue this has to be rebooted several times a week. i have Wep enabled,

Had my Linksys for about 1 1/2 years, already broke. Called customer service and they only warent for 1 year. Said some last for 3-5 years, mine sure didn't. Not much help other than that.

Don't know life of other sytems, but something I would check into.
