"I never thought satellite radio would be worth it, I was wrong." on by Melysintat
Pros: Excellent sound, great stations, great features, easy to use.
Cons: Even though it has an FM modulator built in the quality of sound is poor for cars without the special $50 adapter for a direct connection if you don't have a tape player to plug into.
Summary: It's amazing the difference in satellite and regular radio. Prior to purchasing I tried the free 3 day online trials of both XM and Sirius, and found I liked the XM stations much better. I love the uncensored and commercial free radio, and the choices it has. The sound is excellent, and I've also bought the home kit for home use with my stereo. It's easy to move, easy to connect, and easy to use. Whatever the style of music, talk radio, news, comedy, etc., that you love, you'll find it here. And this receiver does everything it says it can with a clear and easily readable display. The car antenna is barely noticable on top of my car, and even the house one doesn't have a direct southern view and still has excellent reception.

"Outstanding receiver" on by bigj2345
Pros: Compact, easy to move from vehicle to vehicle to home, great sound quality
Cons: LCD DIsplay only in one color, not an all-in-one solution out of box
Summary: This unit has kept me in the car longer. Trips are more enjoyable now. I spend most of my workday in the car and having more options to listen to is a real treat. The SkyFi2 is a clean, easy to use unit. It comes with flexible mounting options out of the box. Would like the large LCD display to be able to change colors but it is easy to ready at night or during the day. However, there is no backlight for the menu and display buttons above the presets. This makes controlling the SkyFi2 difficult for newbies to control at night. Remote control is nice and seems the right size for a car.

"Great sound, great programming, no ads!" on
Pros: Lots of choices for music and talk, no commercials (except for the comedy channels), great sound - I hardly listen to regular radio anymore
Cons: No way to "scroll through" presets with one button

"Great, but why did they turn down Tuneselect?" on
Pros: Great sound, expanded # of tuneselect songs, added ability to use tuneselect to notify you of the specific song or the artist and any song.
Cons: Tuneselect beep is now VERY quiet, often will be missed. Per phone conversation with Delphi, many customers said previous beep(I'm upgrading from a Roady) was too loud... what a mistake...
