No more goofy Sirius receiver on my dash! Love it.by hookembevo - July 27, 2006
Pros: Clean factory look, with superior SIRIUS content, great sound
Cons: Limited display; Less features than Plug & Play
Review:
Extremely simple install. I literally unplugged the XM Module located behind the dash, and plugged in the Sirius module. The unit functions exactly as the factory XM unit, except it's Sirius. The audio is far superior to the Plug & Play that I've been using for the past year (Sportster Replay).
I'm even using the factory XM Antenna with no problems whatsoever. The manual advises against this, but I tested it out for several days with the old Plug & Play Sportster unit that I had. I experienced no dropouts, and the same or higher signal strength.
The unit comes with 2 connectors, 1 for those who have factory XM, and another "T Harness" for those who don't. Both cables reportedly provide the same sound quality and functioning. If you do not have factory XM and use the T-harness, you must wire power to the unit as well. This would be a very inexpensive professional install, and something that most could accomplish with a quick trip to Radio Shack, as you'd need to splice into the lighter connection. I highly recommend this product for late model GM drivers who want Sirius!

Works Perfectly - Convert XM to Siriusby Mudman Dude - July 22, 2006
Pros: Easy installation and Sirius antenna included
Cons: GM vehicle must be satellite ready
Review:
Easy install, piece of cake for XM equipped GM vehicles. Comes with two wiring harnesses, one for XM already in the car and the other for GM satellite ready vehicles, but don't have an XM radio. No change in factory display EXCEPT you now get Sirius information on channels and song titles.
