"Really handy and reliable" on by NSettles

Pros: Allows the use of multiple points for XM radio access. Allows for portability of the XM

Cons: Almost non-existent number of radios that take the chip

Summary: The much vaunted XM Minituner garners its best usability in connection with a compatible radio. One simply plugs the chip into the radio, and the radio then contains the XM subscription and is ready to receive the satellite signal. The problem is that as far as I can determine, THERE ARE NO SUCH RADIOS!!. The closest thing is the Samsung Nexus which requires a home or car docking station to work with the Minituner. Audiovox's response to the question "is there a list of radios that take the chip" is "NO". Then I replied, "Will there be a list?" ...."NO". So, you get lots of portability, but not much choice in the way of actual compatable radios.
