"Great scanner stable drivers great quick out put at 300dpi"
5.0 starson by bob1xxxxPros: good quality fast out put at 300/600dpi
Cons: lousy archsoft photostudio no negetive scanner
Summary: This is the perfect scanner for me small, usb2 no addition power supply, compact, fast high quality output, to back up numerious aging vacation/personal photo prints. I really dont have a need for negetive/slide scanner Ive got hundreds of prints I want to transfer to pc for back up and the speed and mulitiscan features (ie up to three 4x6 prints in the same scan)help speed the archive process. Another huge postive is canons twain / canonscan tool box drivers are very stable (over hundred scans no cashs). The only cloud is the archsoft photostudio but thats easly fixed with a varity of superior photo software. Right now Im importing the canoscan 35 scans to the freeware picasa2 with zero crashs or conflicts producing excellent results. Hey I know this is the scanner not for everyone (ie professional photographer or someone with a ton of negtive/slides and no prints) But for the average home user wanting to backup badly aging prints this is a great deal especially sense I got my at frys and with rebates it was only 39.00 usd. BTW the other feature that works great to like the grayscale copier it works great with my old hp 932c printer. All in all a great deal.
