"Works but is proprietary(not Twain compliant)"
Pros: Works well with its own program
Cons: Doesn't function with any 3rd party apps
Summary: As far as the software goes it works fine. As long as you only want to use the hardware with its included software.
It is NOT a twain compliant device. You can NOT use the hardware with any other software. Which is just plain sad.
