"Great feature set, if they worked"
Pros: Built in negative holder.
Cons: Died after 3 scans and could not be revived. Control software is absolute garbage.

Pros: Scan quality is fine
Cons: This is a very slow scanner. HP's updated scanning software is bulky, hard to configure, and has a mind of its own. If you're looking for efficient scanning, this isn't for you.

"Can't resolve software problem"
Pros: scans decent when it works
Cons: works ok as long as I don't shut down the computer & reboot. Then I have to uninstall the program & reinstall again to get it work. A vicious cycle that is a major waste of time. Yes... I have tried support... they can't help me either. Nice p

"Poor Quality What happened to you HP?"

Cons: I had to take apart the unit when I removed it from the box in order to clean the smudges on the glass. Luckily the glass cleaned off OK. The software closes after each scan and your settings are lost. You have to launch the program (and it takes a long t
