Pros: I biougfht the unit to place my collection of 3000+ slides on CDs. In addition I have made hundreds of B&W and color scans of photos and documents. I like the flexible editing and sizing software.

Pros: I've been using this scanner for over 2 years now. Reliable and fast scanning. Great stand-alone software that allows full control. Perfect for making more than one scan in the same sitting.
Cons: Because the scanner comes without "intuitive" software (tahnk goodness), you need to have *some* knowledge on how to scan.
