"good scanner for what I needed"
Pros: very good at doing batches of slides, although not perfect. Will get some jams about every 20 slides or so, but I find that okay for the amount of scanning I do.
Cons: poor documentation, no discussion of what the different adjustments mean

"Worst purchase I've ever made"
Pros: Advertised to do professional quality scanning.
Cons: The scanner is very very slow when used with Digital ICE. The SF210 slide feeder is really junk. It won't feed more than 3 slides before misfeeding. I visit I hadn't purchased it over the internet. I'd have returned it sooner. I've spent countless hou

Pros: Quality is what it's about and if you want to add the importance of speed with out digital ice> you gotta winner Obviously if you are using Dig Ice you need a blazing fast computer to make up for the high tech software

"Very good 35 MM Film Scanner"
Pros: Can scan color, B&W 35 mm negatives, slides and aps negatives. Digital ICE4 produces very good scans when adjusted properly. Can do batch scans of up to 40 frames.
Cons: You will have to make adjustments to get correct colors when using Digital ICE for each scan. Colors will sometimes be changed by the ICE software at default settings. ICE does not work on some B&W films and slides. Documentation does not cover how to
