The Amigo A-50 is in Argox's line of compact, low-maintenance, and cost-effective barcode printers. The A-50 is a direct-thermal printer that provides user-friendly media management that requires no special training. To reload, just drop in the paper. The A-50 comes in stylish "IBM black" to complement any office or retail environment. Its compact design makes the printer ideal for retail outlets, business and professional offices, and all types of logistics applications. The A-50 is Argox’s best value / performance barcode printer. Using a durable print head structure, the A-50 offers a print speed of 3 ips. The printer accepts large capacity 5-inches OD media rolls and its centralized ribbon sensor and printing alignment can handle media widths from 1-inch to 4-inches and lengths of up to 8-inches. This mechanism also prevents ribbon wrinkle, allows thicker media, and adds flexibility for applications such as label, tag, or banner printing. A see-through window also lets you check whether you need to replace the media roll. The A-50's plug & play installation requires no programming, and with fewer moving parts the printer has minimal support requirements.
