Top notch Linux imager server
Pros: Easy to use, C-mount lens, Low power, No PC needed Feb 2004 Bought this camera 3 years ago used it a bunch but it was to big to go down in the glacier instrument we were building. Just hooked it up again from instructions on the web site. Easy to use
Cons: Static TCP-IP address (is this really a con?)

relatively inexpensive LAN camera - good lens!
Pros: good optics, pc-in-a-camera, wireless and POE (power over ethernet) compatible for remote installations, draws very little power i have 3 in the attic as part of a home-surveillance system. they can be monitored across the net.
Cons: some "bowing-effect" in lens (some 2100's not all), not integrated with wireless (like some competing products), slightly more expensive than others in it's category (although the 2100's price has dropped from over $400 in recent months to $200ish), canno
