Manufacturer description

The C1099A represents Hewlett-Packard's latest terminal for HP9000 and HP3000 systems. It can be used as the system console or as a user data entry station. C1099A can emulate HPTerm, and industry standard ASCII and ANSI terminals. It uses a standard PC-type keyboard and features a clock, calendar, calculator, ASCII chart, and diagnostic accessories. Setup is easy - with emulation-dependent menus. A 'Quick' menu presents common terminal settings for easy setup. The C1099A features selectable refresh rates up to 100Hz for clear, flicker-free viewing and an ISO 9241.3-compliant mode to reduce operator eyestrain. Bezel-to-bezel overscan is also available with refresh rates up to 82Hz. Users have the optional ability to access a single telnet session with their ADDS-text terminal via the Ethernet Interface Adapter. It's a cost-effective alternative to using a PC to access text-based applications. It also helps protect your investment in terminals as your applications change. This product comes with PC 104 keyboard.
