Excellent quality

Pros: Video Quality is excellent. Security features work well

Cons: Probelms finding Access Point. Price. Microphone

Review: Initial setup took a little bit of time! The firmware on the platform was lacking in the functionality offered but after a few upgrades I now have adequate features for my purposes. We use this camera primarily for my family in Ireland to see us and it works great. The security features are working fine but do take some configuration.

From time-to-time I have had issues with the camera trying to connect to my access point although the latest firmware load seems to have helped.

Using the camera as a video conference phone is not practical as the motor and the wireless signal seem to distort the feed on the internal microphone. A solution is to use the camera with another application such as Skype.

As the camera has it's own web server, there are no requirements to have a PC running in order to transmit pictures.

Overall, I think this is a great camera and am looking forward to seeing what improvements are coming!

Awesome, needs better manual

Pros: I own three of these cameras, and I really like them a lot. I set up two of them today in under 5 minutes each, having done this before. The upgrade utility and new firmware process is easy too. Recommend you use the latest firmware (1.04 in US as of F

Cons: It is pretty clear that advanced users will figure out the quirks, but like other reviewers have said, some of the features involving e-mail don't even work. I have to reset one of these cameras every week or so, just doing basic mode, no surveillance.

Awesome features, but a little buggy

Pros: Loaded with lots of great features: awesome pan/tilt, auto-motion-detect, auto-ftp of pics, supports DDNS, ports config is totally customizeable, telnet & web servers work very well.

Cons: 1. email feature does NOT work; even in an *open* pop3/smtp environment. 2. When using auto-motion-detect *AND* auto-ftp feature, the cam will hang after 24-36hrs, and requires a power reset & the LOG is then lost so you can't debug.(dumb feature) 3.

First Under $400 wireless cam worth the money!

Pros: Great 270 degree pan and maybe 160 degree tilt; pretty good color, good wireless connectivity, easier setup than other cameras. Sturdy looking and comes with bracket for wall mount. Built in Mic. Motion detection built in. I would recommend this over

Cons: Multi-camera software is sorta kludgy - I am running W2000 and have a two screen setup and for whatever reason the surveillance software opens in its own 'DOS-like' window that commandeers one whole screen at a 60HZ refresh rate which is very annoying. I
