DirecTV won't tell you this when they sell you the device, but when you try to schedule the 51st series to record, you will get an error message telling you that the series manager will not hold any more items. That's right. You're only allowed to watch 50 series at a time. If you want to record something else, you have to delete something that you're currently recording. And yes, this is brain damaged. The official workaround is to buy more DVRs for your home.

The blue lights are nice.
Cons
Slow changing channels, searching for on demand programs is awkward, recorded shows have no episode numbers, gets buggy every two weeks and needs reset, the picture goes blockish at least once a week. You can't pause or rewind live tv on secondary tv's.
