Video unremarkable, audio unusable
Pros: LCD screen mount quite good
Cons: The "stereo microphone" has a Signal-to-noise ratio of about 1:1 - seriously, it's that bad. It sounds like I'm trying to scream over Hawaii surf.
Review: Bought it in a hurry, regret it now. Steer way clear if you actually want to use the built-in mic! Otherwise unremarkable.

Great Camera

Review: I purchased this camera from my local Best Buy. The first one I received was defective, but Best Buy efficiently exchanged it for a working one.
I found it easy to set up and operate on my HP laptop. My previous webcam was an old Intel cheapy and this was a great improvement. It works as well or better than my laptop's integrated webcam, which I already liked. (I bought this because I wanted the versatility of turning the camera toward my surroundings.)
What I did not like was HP customer service when I wanted to replace the included clamp/stand. I found having to go through the phone-heck of the selection menues several times very frustrating. Everytime someone put me on hold, I was xferred back to the main menu. When I finally asked NOT to be put on hold so I could order the part, the representative informed me that HP did not provide those parts and he did not know of any place that I could get them. I think HP should provide such parts or information as to who manufactures them for its customers.
I have no complaints with the operation of the camera, though. I have had it for a couple of months now with moderate use and it works as well as it did when I first hooked it up.

Never worked. No drivers on disk and Hp support had no drivers to download that worked

Cons: Setup drivers not found on disk
Review: Don't buy it because HP didn't provide drivers so the product is useless. I have a $5 frys generic webcam plugged it in and worked simple driver install. Recommend trying Logetic or Creative for a comparible spec Webcam.
