"Needs MANY soft resets!"
3.0 starson by swaldPros: Full-featured WiFi, Bluetooth and Windows 5.0
Cons: Needs constant soft resets. Security features freeze. Gets hot. Many applications freeze.
Summary: This is a full-featured non-phone PDA which is a very capable machine. In order to have all of these features you have to put up with many freezes within applications and especially if you want to use the fingerprint security feature. It also tends to get quite hot. Very important to put it in flight mode when you are not using it otherwise your battery will die even with it turned off. If you need something reliable for the road-this is NOT the PDA for you-get something simple. If you want all the features, but are going to be able to sync and charge nearby and are very willing to put up with MANY MANY soft reset up to every time you turn it on then this may be the PDA for you.

There are many firmware upgrades available at HP. I read a few and installed them and I rarely have to do any resets what so ever. Just like any computer you need to keep them up to date.

I don't need a phone or camewra, but I need a simple fast PDA with Blue Tooth and compatible with Outlook [for sync] and the Vista operating system. I was thinking of the hx2790, but after reading the reviews, i'm not so sure. Any suggestions welcome.
