quality issues

Pros: lots of adapters

Cons: had to return and second one didn't have the tips that were adverstised, expensive

Review: I forgot my Dell charger on a trip to Central America so was desperate to have something to run my laptop. Bought it at the airport and they did say that it would run my model but not charge - OK I can live with that. However there was a defect in the cable and it would work only occasionaly - it did not work on the plane but luckily was able to have it work in the hotel with some twisting and moving of the cable to just the right position. So on my return trip I stopped at the shop and they said yes sometimes that happens but gladly exchanged it for a new unit - but wait the model has been upgraded and according to the store the new ones will charge a Dell!. But of course there was a catch, the model now included the second device adaptor (which I really don't need because most of my other devices charge through USB) but now they needed to charge an additoinal $20 on top of the overpriced $120 I spent initially. So I found an outlet in the airport and went to find tip 20 that they said was the correct one for Dell. (If you ever run into this situation where you have to buy it during a trip and the store offers to remove the plastic packaging for you - make sure that they put the hang tag in the travel case - the iGo provides no such documentation as to which tips to use for other devices unelss you search their web site). No such tip 20 was in the provided tips and it was a whole new set of tips from what I had just moments ago. So I found what looked like the correct tip and inserted it. It worked however it did not charge the battery.
I think there are serious quality control issues with this product.

Great product for traveling

Pros: 3 in 1 Air, car ,and wall adapters

Cons: Will not charge certain Dell models

Review: I don't have the Igo, but I sell the product at an electronics store. But I know enough about the product to give some kind of review. First of all it's a life saving product to have because it has all the adapters you need to travel with. It has the wall plug, car plug and airplane plug. Please check with your usual airline to make sure the aircraft you are on has a plug in your seat. It powers and charges most laptops on the market. Also whats cool about the Juice is that you can purchase a seperate adapter at any Radio Shack,or at a store called Laptop Lane which is located in selected Airports nationwide. With this adapter you can power and charge certain Cell Phones, PDA's, MP3 players, digital cameras, and other portable devices. Of course you would need to buy the tips seperate to use the dual device. The con about the product is that it does not charge certain Dell computers on the market. Check with your sales associate from where you want to buy it for specific details and PLEASE don't get upset with the sales associate about why it doesen't charge certain Dell's. It's how those models were made. I sell about 5 of these a day on average and I get about 15-20 customers a day asking about it and lots of customers get upset with us because we tell them that the Igo won't charge their Dell if they have that certain model. I know it's all the D series and I believe some of the M series Dell's that it only supplies power to the unit. You also get all sorts of power tips with the Igo for all kinds of Laptops. All in all it's a great product to have. It's very travel friendly. I give it an 8 out of 10

no battery charging!?

Pros: concept is great

Cons: no use if the laptop battery can't be charged, bulky charger

Review: Purchased this for my wife who travels regularly with 3 electronic gizmos (laptop, phone/pda, iPod). Shortly after she changed her laptop model (brand remained the same) and now she can't charge her laptop battery (not supported says iGo). What's the point of an all-in-one charging system if you have to bring along a seperate laptop power adapter? So now the system (which is actually quite bulky by the way) sits unused.

Okay for Powerbook, not use for ipod

Pros: Multiple Devices at once

Cons: Can destroy ipod and they won't own up to it

Review: Device charged Powerbook and b-berry 7100t without problems. Could not find tip for Canon G4 camera but not biggie. PSP tip has been on extended back order. However, when charging ipod for first time the ipod flashed or had a spark in the lower right hand corner then a burning smell. Ipod was unresponsive, would not charge, would not turn on. Ipod is officially dead. Ipod worked flawlessly before this event and folks that make Juice 70 claim the issue is with the ipod!?
