The 781T and its companion 700 Series mobile computer are rugged enough for various route accounting, field service, logistics, home delivery and pre-sales systems, eliminating the need for a cable between the handheld computer and printer. Ideal for accurate receipts, invoices and bar code labels, the 781T solution is a no hassle way to improve wireless printing operations. Mobile workers will no longer need to go back to a truck to begin to print a ticket or wait for a ticket to print while selecting products to deliver. With the equipped Bluetooth compatible module from Socket Communications, front line workers can begin printing from 30ft (10m) away. With a wireless connection, the user can wear a coat in harsh weather environments and still print a ticket. The 781T is small and lightweight (weighing less than 1lb), but made to last with resilient high density polyethylene for even the most challenging delivery applications. This portable printer can be worn at the waist, carried or left in the truck for maximum efficiency. Lithium-ion batteries offer maximum power capacity for the 781T. Automatic power saving sleep mode and quick 3-hour recharge time along with an optional vehicle charger create the optimum application solution for a long service day. The 781T printer delivers exceptional print quality, more than 200 dpi resolution, and graphics capability for logos and even bar codes. A reliable print mechanism and extended print duration allow these printers to handle the printing requirements of a full 8-hour shift, even under tough conditions. As Bluetooth usage expands in the near future, the system can join Bluetooth networks.
