  "I love it, but not perfect"

  Pros: Incredible picture

  Cons: HDMI won't work with my cable service

  Summary: I love this tv, and for the money I cannot imagine a better tv. I ordered the HDMI input on the recommendation of the CNET review only to find out the tv is not HBCP, and therfore won't HDMI connect to my cable service, (Comcast/Scientific Atlantic Explorerer 8300HD tuner box.) The picture is still great with the component connections, but I wish this issue had been mentioned in the review. I could have saved the $145.OO extra for the HDMI slot. Guess I'll use it on the DVD.

  Have you tried it? Hooked up the exact same equipment 2 weeks ago and it looks fantastic. High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection should not affect the connection of the SA 8300HD via the HDMI input to the Panasonic. I pulled the cover off of slot 1, and added the HDMI card there. The card cannot be used in slot #3, as marked on the card.
